Bhagavad Gita is the first book written on Yoga. Set in a drama on the field of war the chief warrior argues the case for non violence with Lord Krishna. The wisdom of the upanishads is taught to us through Krishna in his conversations with the chief warrior. It is one of the oldest philosophies known to mankind. Through Gita's 18 chapters we are enlightened with the meanings of Yoga, Soul, Karma, liberation etc.
Bhagavad Gita translates as the "Song of God", it is written in verse and will be recited, chanted and sung in its original Sanskrit using our romanised transliterated text and each verse will be examined for meaning and various published commentaries will be discussed.
The study inspires those on the path of spirituality and answers many questions that haunt the enquiring mind.
Gita not only reveals the secrets of divine realities, it has answers to life's problems and many a seeker has found the answer to a problem pestering the mind merely by randomly opening the pages and reading a verse or two.
